Web Design & Graphic Design.
The page you are reading is the work sample. I design and build websites for law firms, venues, artists, and my own companies, and every one of them runs on the same discipline this page does: a documented palette, a real type system, and a method that starts with research and ends in public.

Named properties, truthful scope.

This site. The brand system, the typography, and the page you are reading are the exhibit, and the redesign is grounded in a measured self-audit of the whole web presence.

One Case, Five Steps
The King William Law Center, worked end to end.
Three independent law firms share one restored building at 923 S. Alamo Street in Southtown, a few blocks from the Bexar County courthouse. They needed one front door on the web without becoming one firm. Here is the method this site keeps naming, applied to a real address.
Identity · 35 pages · 15 areas of law · 3 firms · 2 bookable conference rooms
01
Research
Three firms, fifteen areas of law, and one hard constraint: Texas lawyers who share an office without sharing a firm must never read as partners. King William is the district, South Alamo is the address, and the name settled on the district.
02
Create
An identity in oxblood and navy with a crest, plus a shared type system. The organizing idea is a triage: tell the site what you are facing and it points you to the firm at this address that handles it.
03
Build
Thirty-five hand-built pages on one design system: fifteen area-of-law pages, Bexar County court guides, checklists, fillable worksheets for divorce, estate planning, and business formation, a child support estimator, and a booking page for the two conference rooms.
04
Embed
The center routes outward by design. Every practice card carries the firm’s own site and phone number, and the independence notice travels with all thirty-five pages, so the umbrella never reads as a merger.
05
Publish
The build is in final review and launching at the King William Law Center. No countdown clocks. When it launches, the link goes live.
The Toolbox
Disciplines, not percentages.
Skill bars are decoration. These are the disciplines at work in everything above, and every one of them is checkable against the live properties here.
WordPress
Full builds and rebuilds: themes and child themes, block editor work, and the editorial scaffolding a client team will actually use after handoff.
Design Systems
Tokens, type scales, and component patterns, written down so the next person can keep the system honest. This page runs on the documented juliegood.com system.
Brand Identity
Naming, palettes, crests and wordmarks, and the usage rules that keep a brand consistent once it leaves my hands.
Typography
High contrast display serifs for the voice, a working monospace for labels and data, and body type set for long reading.
Adobe Creative Cloud
Licensed and in working use for print, image, and identity work: posters, programs, album art, and the visual layer of the sites above.
Accessibility
WCAG AA as the floor. Contrast pairs here are computed rather than eyeballed, and the numbers are printed in the colophon below.
SEO
Metadata, structured data, and social preview discipline, checked with the same instruments I point at client sites.
HTML & CSS
Hand-built static sites when the project calls for them, including the thirty-five page build in the case study above.
Colophon
How this page is built.
This page is its own exhibit. Fraunces carries the display type, Inter carries the body, JetBrains Mono carries the labels and the data, and one signature in Caveat is the only script the system allows. The palette is five colors with assigned jobs: black is the stage, oxblood is the voice, gold is reserved for the facts, and navy and forest mark the other lanes of this site.
- Black 0A0A0A
- Oxblood 7B1E2B
- Gold C9A227
- Navy 14213D
- Forest 1E4D3B

16.9:1

11.8:1
Slate body on paper
8.3:1
Gold facts on black
7.4:1
Cream type on oxblood
Every contrast pair meets WCAG AA, and the body text pairs clear AAA. The layout folds to one column on a phone. And nothing here is an image: every shape you see is type, color, and CSS, which is the point of a design page that claims to know what it is doing.
Tools of the trade
The software the work actually runs on.
No tool wins a project on its own. These are the instruments behind the sites, the brand systems, and the print work here, the ones I reach for daily and can defend in a critique.
Logos that load from the Simple Icons CDN go monochrome on cream and take their brand color on hover. The Adobe applications, whose marks are not on that CDN, are set as type chips in the same grid.
Selected work
Properties you can open in a new tab.
A short shelf of sites, each with the scope stated plainly and a link to the live page where one exists. Nothing here is a mockup of someone else’s work.

The product site explains a system I built myself: live events, legal evidence, media production, and AI-assisted operations under one spine.
